Are my medical records kept private and confidential?
Yes. At all times we strive to maintain patient confidentiality. This means we won’t discuss your medical history or your personal information with anyone unless we have your written permission to do so.
What should I expect during my first visit?
On your first visit to Kelso Medical Group you will be allocated a longer appointment, first with the Nurse and then with the GP so that any relevant medical history can be discussed.
We ask you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so that you can fill out your registration details. Once these forms are complete, our Nurse will see you to obtain some basic details such as height and weight for your file. Then you will see your GP.
If you feel that you would like to become a regular patient at Kelso, you may like to have your records transferred from your previous GP, this can be arranged after your appointment.
Please note that full payment is required on the day of consultation.
